Number/squad: Up to two Techpriest Enginseers can be included in an army, and will count as a single Elite choice. They are deployed as a single unit but do not need to be placed together and operate independently during the game.
Weapons: Laspistol and power weapon (normally an axe), servo-arm.
Options: Techpriest Enginseers have access to the Imperial Guard Armoury.
Transport: A Techpriest Enginseer may be mounted in a Chimera transport vehicle at +70 pts.
Character: If on his own, a Techpriest Enginseer is an independent character. If accompanied by Servitors (see Wargear), he must remain in unit coherency with them and command them. If the Servitors are wiped out, the Techpriest Enginseer becomes an independent character.
Special Rules
Blessing of the Machine-God: A Techpriest Enginseer who starts the turn in contact with a damaged vehicle may attempt to make a repair. If the vehicle is immobilised or has a weapon destroyed, one of these defects (chosen by the Techpriest) is fixed on a roll of 6+. The Techpriest Enginseer gets +1 for each Technical Servitor accompanying him.
