Night Lords
Because the Night Lords do not worship the Chaos Powers as gods they are reluctant to enter into Daemonic pacts so there are few Daemons in their armies. Chaos Furies are often enslaved by Raptor Cults, however, and so may be included. Daemon Princes and Possessed Chaos Space Marines are further exceptions as they are essentially Night Lords with Daemonic abilities.
Marked models may only bear the Mark of Chaos Undivided. Vehicles may not be dedicated to any of the Chaos Gods in particular.
All Night Lord Chaos Space Marines have the Night Vision Veteran skill at no cost in points and have sole rights to the Stealth Adept skill. The Night Sight skill does not count toward their maximum number of skills.
The Night Lords are skilled raiders and make excellent use of both Chaos Space Marine Bikes and Raptors. To reflect this, they may use an additional Fast Attack selection in return for two less Heavy Support selections. Using the standard force organisation chart they may therefore have one Heavy Support selection and four Fast Attack selections.
Night Lords forces make extensive use of Raptors. The normal 0-1 unit limitation in the main list does not apply to them.
Stealth Adept Skill — 5/1 pts
The squad can maximise the benefits of any cover available, and therefore gains an extra +1 to their cover save. For example, a cover save of 5+ would count as a cover save of 4+. The squad still gets no cover save when in open ground. Models with a Bike, Steed, Daemonic Stature or Terminator Armour cannot use this skill.
Errata — Chapter Approved: Codex: Chaos Space Marines Q&A (v3.0): "Few Daemons" means the Night Lords may only use Furies — no other type of Daemon is available to them, however rarely. Only units and models that can normally take Veteran skills get Night Vision for free — it does not extend to Night Lords vehicles or to units that couldn't otherwise take skills.
