Squad: The Spear of Khaine consists of an Avatar and a Warlock escort, and counts as a single HQ choice. The Avatar must be accompanied by from 2 to 5 Warlocks (see Codex: Eldar). You may detach Warlocks from the Spear of Khaine and attach them to Guardian squads, as detailed in the Codex: Eldar army list. However, you must leave at least two Warlocks in the Spear of Khaine.
Options: The Warlocks may be given any equipment allowed by the Craftworld Eldar Armoury. They must each be equipped with either a Singing Spear or a Witchblade.
Warlock Powers: Each Warlock must be given a single Warlock power at the points cost listed in the Eldar armoury.
Rune Armour: See the Wargear section for details.
Special Rules
Fearless: While the Avatar is on the table, the Spear of Khaine automatically passes any Morale or Pinning tests it has to make.
Avatar: All the special rules in the Avatar entry in Codex: Eldar apply to the Avatar in the Spear of Khaine, but he no longer counts as an independent character.
Designer's Note: Remember, statistics cannot be raised above 10 for any reason (the Avatar's Weapon Skill being affected by Enhance, for instance).
