Team: Consists of 1-3 Broadside Shas'ui.
Equipment: Each member of the team is equipped with an XV88 Broadside armour. The above profile has been amended to include the suit's enhancements.
Character: One Shas'ui per team may be designated as a team leader at +5 points. They may then select items from the Tau Armoury. A Shas'ui team leader can be upgraded to Shas'vre at +5 points.
Special Rules
Bonded: The team may be bonded by the Ta'lissera at a cost of +10 points for the whole team. They will not carry a bonding knife but will have a knife design painted onto their battlesuits.

Twin-linked railgun and smart missile system. May replace smart missile system with twin-linked plasma rifle at +10 pts.
Choose one support system from the following list:
- Multi-tracker — +5 pts
- Target lock — +5 pts
- Shield generator — +20 pts
- Drone controller plus from 1 to 2 gun drones — +10 pts each drone
- Drone controller plus from 1 to 2 shield drones — +15 pts each drone
Broadside battlesuits are specialist anti-armour weapons used to support the main line of Tau battle formations, and are nothing if not devastatingly accurate. The Broadside team is a central element of a Tau force, providing a mobile line of fire and the ability to pin or break armoured targets.
Errata — Chapter Approved: Codex: Tau Q&A (v2.0): 'All on your own' tests only apply if a Broadside team is reduced to a single model by casualties, not if it started that way — a one-man Broadside team fielded from the start does not have to take the test.
