In addition to their Big Horns and Iron Gobs, successful Nobz have a trophy pole to carry interesting souvenirs from foes they have defeated in battle. The pole may be carried by the Nob (strapped to his back) or by a member of his mob (including a Grot but not a squig). An Ork mob trying to mob up with a mob carrying a bosspole may re-roll their Leadership test if they fail on the first try.
Errata — Chapter Approved: Codex: Orks Q&A (v1.0): The Codex does not actually provide a way to buy a Grot to carry the bosspole. The fix is the following missing wargear entry:
Banna Wavva — 3 points: Uses the standard Grot statline. May carry a bosspole or a Waaagh! banner. A Banna Wavva may not be chosen as a casualty caused by enemy shooting (only the luckiest Grots are chosen for the job, and they always seem to know when to dodge behind the nearest cover, or Ork, to avoid fire). Blast markers and templates will affect them as normal. Banna Wavvas are armed with a Grot blasta.
