Options: Up to two bikes can replace their splinter rifles with a shredder at +15 pts or a blaster at +10 pts.
Character: One rider may be upgraded to a Reaver Succubus at an additional cost of +16 pts. The Reaver Succubus may choose additional equipment from the Dark Eldar Armoury.
Special Rules
Reaver Jetbike: Special rules apply to the Reaver jetbike. These are included in the Wargear section of this Codex.
Combat Drugs: Reaver jetbike riders are a subsect of the Wych cult, and like them they use combat drugs to artificially boost their abilities. Roll a D6 for each Reaver jetbike squad at the start of the battle to see what effect the vile narcotics have on the unit. A separate D6 roll is made for each unit, and the effect lasts for the entire battle. If the Reaver Succubus leading the squad is given a combat drug dispenser then its effects only apply to them and replace the effects of the squad's own evil concoctions.
| D6 | Result |
|---|---|
| 1 | Crazed! Ignores fall back results of any type, always advances after a combat and never consolidates. |
| 2 | +1 WS |
| 3 | +1 S |
| 4 | Always strikes first |
| 5 | Re-roll any misses in close combat. |
| 6 | +1 Attack |
Errata — Chapter Approved: Codex: Dark Eldar Q&A (v2.0): If a squad's Combat Drugs give it a benefit the Reaver Succubus doesn't share (eg her own drug dispenser rolled a different result, or the squad rolled 'Crazed!' but she has no dispenser of her own), the general principle is that unless the entire unit is immune to falling back, the unit falls back as a whole if it fails a Morale check — a unit should never be split up, with only the models that lack Fearless (or a similar immunity) benefiting from being near ones that have it. Some specific exceptions exist elsewhere in the game (eg Warlocks joined to Wraithguard units), but those must be explicitly stated as such.
