Resurrection Orb — 40 points
The Necron Lord is able to augment the self-repair systems of Necrons within 6" of him. All Necron units with a model within 6" (including the Lord himself) may attempt 'We'll be back' rolls even if they were damaged by weaponry that causes instant death or close combat weapons that allow no Armour save.
Errata — Chapter Approved: Codex: Necrons Q&A (v2.0): A Necron Lord may use his own Resurrection Orb to attempt a 'We'll be back' roll for himself. When a unit falls back after losing a close combat to power weapons and leaves destroyed models behind, it's the destroyed models — not the unit's surviving, active models — that must be within 6" of the Orb, since that's where the damage was actually inflicted; if they self-repair they'll join the nearest unit of the same type, likely their own falling-back squad. The Orb does not grant a 'We'll be back' roll to a unit that has been entirely wiped out with no model of the same type left within 6" (and no Tomb Spyder in range) — the Orb overrides the "no Armour save / instant death" restriction on the roll itself, it doesn't conjure up a roll where none could otherwise be attempted.
