| Points/Model | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld | Sv | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wyches | 10 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 6 | 1 | 8 | 6+ |
| Wych Succubus | +8 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 6 | 2 | 8 | 6+ |
Squad: The squad consists of between five and twenty Wyches.
Weapons: Splinter pistol and close combat weapon.
Options: Up to two models may be armed with a shredder at +10 pts or a blaster at +5 pts. All models in the squad may be armed with plasma grenades at +2 pts per model and/or haywire grenades at +4 pts per model. One Wych model may be armed with a shardnet and impaler, one model may be armed with hydraknives and another Wych model may be armed with a razorsnare and falchion, all at no additional points cost.
Character: One of the Wych models can be upgraded to a Wych Succubus at an additional cost of +8 pts. The Wych Succubus is armed with a splinter pistol & close combat weapon, or with one of the three Wych weapon combinations from the list below. The Wych Succubus may also choose extra equipment from the Armoury.
Raider: If the squad has ten or less models they can be mounted on a Raider at an extra cost of +55 pts.
Special Rules
Combat Drugs: Wyches use combat drugs to artificially boost their already finely honed abilities. Roll a D6 for each Wych squad at the start of the battle to see what effect the vile narcotics have on the unit. The effect lasts for the entire battle. If the Wych Succubus leading the squad has a combat drug dispenser then its effects only apply to them and replace the effects of the squad's own evil concoctions.
| D6 | Result |
|---|---|
| 1 | May make a 12" assault move and a 3D6" pursuit or fall back move. |
| 2 | +1 WS |
| 3 | +1 S |
| 4 | Always strikes first |
| 5 | Re-roll any misses in close combat. |
| 6 | +1 Attack |
Wych Weapons:
Shardnet and impaler: The shardnet is used to ensnare or distract opponents, so that they suffer a -1 to hit modifier. The impaler allows the Wych to always strike first in the first round of combat, even against opponents in cover. The model counts as having two close combat weapons and receives a +1 Attack in close combat.
Hydraknives: A Wych armed with a pair of hydraknives always strikes last in close combat but doubles its Attacks after any modifiers have been applied. The model counts as having two close combat weapons and receives a +1 Attack in close combat.
Razorsnare and Falchion: The falchion is a special type of blade that counts as a close combat weapon. When combined with the razorsnare, it gives a +1 Attack bonus as a second weapon. The razorsnare allows the Wych to 'pull' a model who is within 2" into base contact. In addition, opponents fighting a Wych who has a razorsnare lose the benefit of using two close combat weapons (ie, they don't get the +1 Attack they would normally receive).
Sidebar note: If you have any squads of Wyches in your army you may take one pack of Warp Beasts. The Warp Beasts are a separate unit, but do not count as a separate Elites choice with regard to the number of Elite units you may have in the army.
